Spring 2008
Lighting, but not as we know it.....
LED lighting is the ‘hot’ technology at the moment, it’s advancing very fast and we’re in on the revolution, with our small conference rig that needs no dimmers, no huge power supply, and ‘dial-a-colour’ from any lamp via DMX control. Jonathan’s son, Simon (16), is looking forward to playing with it on a gig with his band (they’re called “The Black Alternative” - this week!).
It is so reassuring always knowing that I don't have to worry....
After The Fire Jonathan went on tour as soundman for the band who provided the soundtrack to his teenage years - see www.afterthefire.co.uk . There’s another tour in the planning stage for November 2008.
Obstetric Anaesthesia 2008 (hope I’ve spelt that right!) Fourth year running presentations at the OAA’s annual meeting, which in one session featured a new presenter every 7.5 minutes!
Jet-setting jaunts to Marrakesh, Prague, Cannes, Toronto, Krakow, er...Harrogate?
Businesses of all descriptions local to us in Chesham and St. Albans are hearing from us, to offer PowerPoint programming with an hourly charge rather than daily. We’re thinking there must be many people out there who give presentations and are frustrated by restricted time or knowledge, but they don’t know who to call, or may be put off by the complexity or expense of getting the professionals in. Well, English-technical translation and putting non-specialist people at their ease is what we’re good at! Drop us an email or call for a chat about how we can help turn your ‘functional’ presentation into something ‘smooth’, ‘impressive’ or just ‘working properly’!.
(PS you don’t have to be in Chesham or St. Albans!)
